Some of the major contributors to the popular Vintage Hendo market, including Cathy Lombardo and her “Lady Beatrice” line, will also appear at the Southern Chicks Holiday Market (1630 Asheville Hwy., Hendersonville), an open house held 4-9pm through November 15. If it’s vintage, shabby-chic, collaged, mod-podged, deliciously scented, cottony, rustic, or fashionably distressed, you’re likely to find it here. Expect furniture, textiles, accessories, and outside-the-box (and outside the big-box store!) gifts. Sheila Francis, the proprietor of Southern Chicks Market, “is working night and day to create beautiful vignettes at this [event],” according to Lombardo. “Every room is sparkling, glittering, and glistening.”
