A Patchwork of Stories

On Sunday, March 22, four storytellers will gather at the Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway to share a dazzling variety of stories. Presented by Stories on Asheville’s Front Porch and co-sponsored by the Wilma Dykeman Legacy and the Southern Highlands Craft Guild, these artists will share stories from their own rich storehouses. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Purchase advance tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com. The Folk Art Center is located in east Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a 10-minute drive along U.S. Highway 70 East from the Asheville Mall. This event features four renowned storytellers: Tom Chalmers, DeWayne Barton, Laura Boosinger and David Holt.
