Birding in Flat Rock Park

Local birder and nationally recognized ornithologist Simon Thompson will lead a walk through the Park and Flat Rock where nesting birds will be well into their breeding season. The park is home to Eastern kingbird, yellow-throated warbler, and indigo bunting. Those going on the walk will also learn local bird songs and calls. Bring binoculars and a bird book if you have one. The rain date is May 31. The walk is limited to 17 participants.
