Ellen Trnka and Carrie Morrison

Ellen Trnka is a vocal musician from the New York City area who has been residing in WNC since 2002.  She’s been singing professionally for over 30 years in blues and jazz bands and in trios, duets and as a soloist.  A Louisville, Ky., native, Carrie Morrison has been playing piano since age 7. She moved to “higher ground” in 2004, and has been a denizen of local clubs and venues in and around Western North Carolina. The two will perform at Southern Appalachian Brewery.
