Hendersonville Swing Band

The Hendersonville Swing Band invites lovers of the Big Band sound of the 1930s through the 1950s to a concert titled On the Sunny Side of the Street. The concert by the 17-piece band, directed by trombonist Jerry Sink, will benefit the Hendersonville Medical Loan Closet, a non-profit that provides hospital beds, lifts, wheelchairs and other equipment at minimal cost to area residents. Tickets are available at the Medical Loan Closet at 1225 Seventh Ave. East, Trinity Presbyterian Church on Blythe Street, and at the door.
