Introduction to Crocheting
January 9, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Thursday, repeating until January 30, 2020

Which is better: knitting or crocheting? Although knitting is all the rage these days, many think crocheting is where it’s at. If you like finishing projects quickly and hate fixing mistakes, you’ll love learning how to crochet in this four-week course!
Camille Daunno has been crocheting since she was old enough to hold a hook, and teaching folks—both kids and adults—how to crochet for almost as long!
In the first two classes, Camille will cover the “mechanics” of crocheting, including how to read a pattern and understand crochet terms. After that, you’ll learn how to make a chain and form all the basic crochet stitches: single, double, half double, triple (or treble) crochet. Finally, you’ll learn how to increase and decrease and make a simple finished edge.
For just $25 per class, you’ll gain a skill that will not only last a lifetime but is filled with endless creative possibilities! Best of all, after you “graduate,” you’ll be welcome to attend a FREE Stitching Circle at Purple Crayon!
