Introduction to Wheel Throwing

The TC Arts Council will host a course on pottery wheel throwing for beginners. The class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Nov. 13, 15, 20, 27. These four classes will come with instruction by Philippa Hackett and include three self- practice sessions at Open Studio Time. The cost for four classes and three practice sessions is $240 plus clay. A bag of 25-pound clay is $20. This class will also be offered on the following dates: Jan. 22, 24, 29, 31 and Feb. 19, 21, 26, 28. Register for classes by calling 828-884-2787. TC Arts Council is located at 349 S.
