Acknowledged as one of the country’s most scenic and challenging outdoor-sports extravaganzas, the Lake Lure Olympiad includes a “Slam the Dam” 10K, the Lake Lure Triathlon, and the famous “Race to the Rock” event at Chimney Rock State Park, a 25-mile bike ride or 5K run.
