Monthly Meeting of the Embroliderers’ Guild of America

The Laurel Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Aug. 1. The program will be a small Halloween-themed biscornu, or pin cushion. This blackwork project is done on 32-count linen. Kim Saunders will be teaching the stitching and finishing techniques required. The chapter meets at Cummings United Methodist Church, 3 Banner Farm Road Etowah/Horse Shoe. Registration is from 9:30 to 10am followed by a short business meeting and the program until noon.
