Opening Day Appalachian Folkways Celebration

This 47th annual event marks the opening of Cradle of Forestry for the season. Take a turn behind friendly draft horses to experience the hard work of early plowing. Live demos include blacksmithing, old-time music, molasses making, and more. The Cradle of Forestry, 11250 Pisgah Hwy., Pisgah Forest. General admission.
