River Heroes of the South

The Center for Cultural Preservation presents the release of a new film on the ordinary people who did extraordinary things to protect Southern rivers and streams. Guardians of Our Troubled Waters is the center’s sixth feature film that seeks to reconnect people to their rich cultural and natural heritage. The film will have its world premiere in June. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged. The evening includes music by Cherokee performer Matthew Tooni and a question and answer session with the director.
