Rock Out For Kids!

On Saturday, Sept. 7, Guidon Brewing Co. is hosting Rock Out for Kids!, a family friendly music festival benefitting Helping Hand Developmental Center. Helping Hand is a non-profit preschool program in Henderson County for children ages 2-5 with and without special needs. Rock Out for Kids will start at noon and run until 10pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids and will be sold at the door or online at facebook.com/hh4kids. In addition to live music from eight bands, there will be plenty of fun activities for kids: a bounce house slide, gigantic Connect 4, face painting, and more. There will be a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Food will be available for purchase at Doc Brown’s BBQ food truck. Guidon Brewing Co. is donating $1 from every pint purchased. Hendersonville Pediatric Dentistry, Edney Orthodontics, and Looking Glass Eye Center are sponsoring this event. The bands start performing at noon. The lineup is Wesley Ganey; Laura Laughter and Tim Levene; Gilliam Gals; Further to Fly; Action Figures; Jenny Arch and Friends; Jamison Adam’s Project; and Billingsley Rock Out for Kids is part of Helping Hand’s ongoing building campaign. The center is moving to Grace Blue Ridge Church but needs to renovate an unfinished section of the church. The total amount needed is $260,000, and they are half way there.
