Laura Fields will delight and educate during Saluda Train Tales. She will discuss the North Carolina mineral industry, which is one of the reasons the railroads were built to Western North Carolina. She will explore the mineral industry over the past 200 years and show some of the rocks produced by the mountains. Donations are appreciated.
