Sandburg Story Slam

The Carl Sandburg Home in Flat Rock, a National Historic Site, offers a free-admission day on Jan. 6, Sandburg’s birthday. A related event, the Sandburg Story Slam, happens the same day. The slam is a competitive storytelling event scheduled at the Henderson County Main Library’s Kaplan Auditorium (301 North Washington St., Hendersonville).
