The Butterfly Highway

June 23, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Pollinators like bumblebees, butterflies, and other insects are critical to North Carolina’s biological diversity and agricultural economy. The North Carolina Wildlife Federation is working to protect pollinators through the Butterfly Highway, which brings together a coalition of public and private land owners committed to protecting and conserving habitats for pollinators and wildlife. This talk will highlight some of the Butterfly Highway projects across the state and how to bring it to your own backyard and community. The class is free, but pre-registration is required.
