The Garden of the Finzi Continis

Hendersonville Film Society presents this 1970 Italian film that’s considered a classic drama. It tells the story of the aristocratic and intellectual Finzi-Contini family, who lived in the small Jewish community of Ferrara. In the fall of 1943, they and many in their social circle were deported to German concentration camps. Only one returned. The film won the 1972 Oscar for Best Foreign Film. Donations are appreciated.
