Do you have old journals tucked away in a box? This three-session class will guide you in reviewing your journals to reflect on your life. Class participants will follow a simple process that includes time for individual reading between classes, and for optional shared reflection with others during class. Whether your journaling has been sporadic or consistent, this review can provide insights into the patterns of your past and help you mine your journals for potential material to use in creating a memoir. Liz Hill has facilitated workshops for writers at all levels of experience. The co-author of several books, she developed the un-journaling process after reviewing more than 40 years of her own collected journals. Learn more about her at www.lizhill.net. This workshop is offered through Henderson County Parks and Recreation, at their facility 708 South Grove St. Registration is $30 for the three-class session, May 1, 8 and 15, and participants can register in person at Parks and Rec, or on the web site www.hcprd.com.
