Volunteer Workday at Florence Nature Preserve

Help restore natural habitat and protect rare plants and wildlife by removing non-native, invasive plants and maintaining an important meadow habitat. Volunteers will hike about one moderate mile and will learn invasive plant identification. Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bring water, snacks, and lunch. Meet at Conserving Carolina’s Hendersonville office at 9am to carpool or at the Upper Hickory Nut Gorge Trailhead at 3836 Gerton Highway at 10am.
