World Famous Artist Visits Hendersonville

Apple Country Woodcrafters hosts internationally recognized woodworker Cynthia Carden Gibson at the Hendersonville Operations Center on Monday, Nov. 25, at 7:15pm. The public is invited, but space and seating are limited. There is no charge. Gibson’s work is elegant and distinctive and often combines coloring in unusual and beautiful ways. Gibson works collaboratively with internationally recognized woodworking artisans and is the creator of The Amazing Doll collection. Gibson’s unique style of pyrography (woodburning) has gained international recognition. Her work has been published in journals including American Craft magazine, Pyrography magazine, American Woodturner and many others. She has presented for prestigious seminars and conducted classes both throughout the mainland of the United States and Hawaii, as well as internationally.
