The fifth annual Zelda Fitzgerald Celebration kicks off March 9 at 6pm at Pack Library with Therese Anne Fowler, author of Z – A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald. The free event includes an interview by Lisa Nanney, professor of literature and American studies at UNC affiliates. On March 10 at 5pm, there will be a reading of a proclamation declaring Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald Day at Asheville City Hall. Following that at 6pm at the Thomas Wolfe Memorial, there will be a program on the Highland Hospital fire and the events that surrounded her death.
