Although CA’s Cheesecakes offers its delivery option (within ten miles of the store) year round, the glorious notion of fresh cheesecake brought to the front door during the holidays seems like some kind of a Christmas miracle. Also selling slices and whole cakes inside its downtown location, the bakery is proud of its recipe that eschews anything remotely artificial: Even plain-cheesecake purists will be satisfied.
From there, signature variations include chocolate-strawberry swirl, Reese’s, and Turtle. And the holiday-specials list has grown longer this year: Co-owner and bakery namesake Carol-Ann Bagnulo lists a choice of white- or chocolate-peppermint cheesecake and other seasonal options including flavors of eggnog and hot chocolate, white-chocolate mousse, cranberry-orange, pumpkin, and Snickerdoodle.
