Last month, Bold Life interviewed Cathy Lombardo about the drive behind Vintage Hendo (Vintage Pop-Up Market Speaks), her seasonal pop-up market where what is old is new again — and if it’s been repurposed, well, then, all the better. (Think Mid-Century TV consoles turned into minibars.)
Younger generations, she says in the article, “love it when you take old stuff and turn it into something new.” That means furniture, clothing, signs, jewelry, and ephemera of all shapes.
This month, Vintage Hendo happens at a new venue: Garage 25 in Fletcher (3461 Hendersonville Road). Saturday, May 6, 11am-6pm: Vintage Hendo. See the event’s Facebook page for more information.
