Planet Earth and Beyond

Program is for kids in grades K-5. They will learn about the moon, sun and stars as well as rocks and minerals that help form our planet and constellations in the night sky. Program is limited to 30 kids so arrive early to secure a spot. The session times are 2 and 3:30pm.

The Great Coaster Challenge

Roper Mountain Science Center presents a program for kids in grades K-5. This hands-on program lets kids act as theme park engineers to design and build a prototype roller coaster. The program is limited to 24 kids so arrive early to secure a spot. Session times are 2 and 3:30pm.

Fact or Myth with the WNC Nature Center

Kids in grades K-5 will learn about amazing wild animals and hear about the rumors about who they are, where they live, and what they can do.
