RiverStreet Networks has expressed an interest in providing broadband service in Fletcher, Hendersonville, Laurel Park and Biltmore Forest. Over the next three months, citizens should go online to provide RiversStreet with feedback. RiverStreet has said it will enter the local market if they determine residents are interested in a new provider.

Fundraiser for Injured Hendersonville Fire Captain

The CrossFit fitness community and the Hendersonville and Asheville fire departments present a fundraiser to help Josh Poore and his family. A Hendersonville fire captain, Poore was seriously injured in a mountain bike accident on June 13. He us undergoing spinal cord rehabilitation in Atlanta. There will be a workout for people to show their support for Poore and his family. Heats will occur every half hour.
