Auditions will be held for August: Osage County. People auditioning must be 18 and older. The times are March 23 from 1-3pm and 5-7pm and March 24 from 2-5pm. Auditions will consist of cold readings and prepared sides. All ethnicities are encouraged to audition.

For the 12th year, Dancing With Our Stars continues to entertain and raise funds for BLT. Professional and amateur dancers alike compete for $1 votes. The competition starts at 8pm and there is open dancing one hour prior. A cash bar and snacks are available. Tickets are $10 per person purchased the night of the event. To reserve a full table or for individual tickets, call 828-884-2587. Online tickets are not available for this event. Doors open at 6:30pm.

The event features acclaimed storytellers Freeman Owle, Ronnie Pepper and Michael “Badhair” Williams. This is  fundraiser for the new film project: River Heroes of the South.

A play within a play, a community theatre is producing a murder mystery with an inexperienced playwright. However, the plot doesn’t really have a murder and the playwright keeps changing the script. In addition, the cast is disgruntled, and the playwright accidentally deletes the entire sound effects board. All the disasters come to fruition in Act III when the company performs the actual show with hilarious mishaps at every turn.
