Etowah Heritage Day takes place on Saturday, Oct. 19, and celebrates the history of the west Henderson County community and the Etowah Valley.  This special event marks 130 years since the first post office was established in 1889.  It is located on the grounds of the Etowah Branch Library and includes exhibitors, refreshments and commemorative giveaways while supplies last.
