Wood Inlay Trivets

David Adler leads this two-session workshop where students will design a geometric pattern or copy existing patterns to make a parquetry (wood inlet) trivet from pre-cut pieces of exotic woods in various shapes. All materials are furnished.

Eco Printing Workshop

Patricia Spangler leads this workshop that offers an introduction to eco printing, which is  form of direct contact printing using leaves, plants and flowers to create color, design and shape. Steam or boiling water facilitates the process. Students should bring rubber gloves, an apron, notebook and pen, paper towels, leaves if desired, and plastic bowls. Call or go online for more information. There is a $25 materials fee.
